I had a really cool experience at Sport Beach today where I got to partake in Creator Field Day with Stephania Ergemlidze, Chari Hawkins, Max Klymenko, Brandon Marshall and Coco Mocoe. When I arrived they were throwing footballs into targets as a little competition, so I decided to pass the time at the small golf greens they had and putted a few balls. After a few putts I noticed they were doing a putting competition to see who could get closest to the target and I was interested so I waited in that line. Once my turn was up Brandon Marshall came over and started asking me some questions about myself like what am I doing in life and if I was a creator. I responded with that I was a college student studying sports journalism and that I'm not a creator, which he told me that I was after hearing what I was studying and that shined a new light on the career path I'm choosing to pursue. When I think of the word creator I think of content and famous people, but everyone can be a creator too if they're truly passionate about something. I believe they can create new ways to share that passion with others whether it's through media or word of mouth. Brandon then proceeded to ask me about what league I was looking to pursue, to which I responded with NFL and he told me that we should talk because he had connections, as he played wide receiver for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos. I took the opportunity after the field day was done to connect with him and ask about who I can get into contact with, so I received his wife's Instagram to get a hold of and they'll point me in the direction of the people I should connect with. This experience really inspired me to put myself out there more because you never know who you'll meet and have connections to and to look at certain things from a different perspective.
