This whole trip to Cannes and experiencing the Lions festival is truly one I will never forget. It was my first time traveling outside of the U.S. and also my first time traveling alone, so I really experienced a bunch of firsts with this trip and I'm really grateful because I was really nervous but I did it and it showed me that I am capable of doing things on my own. I learned that you have to immerse yourself into the experience because that's where the best memories come from. The memory I keep going back to is the Sport Beach Creator Field Day because if I didn't participate in that golf putting challenge I wouldn't have put my foot in the door to network with professionals that want to help me get to where I want to be with my career, which is in sports either with the NFL or MLB. What I learned about communication is to be curious and start conversations with the people around you because they are more than happy to talk about what they do and you never know who you're talking to because there are CEO's and CMO's everywhere and if you make a good impression they're likely to remember you and this can open the door for many job opportunities.
